Rivaling its reputation as a sun-dappled escape for shopping and dining, El Paseo has a rich history as an event destination. Fashion Week El Paseo launched in 2006 to cultivate a following far beyond Southern California. Eight inspired evenings of runway shows featured international designers and emerging talent. Four years later, Palm Desert Food & Wine linked up its dates on the heels of Fashion Week to create nearly a half month of excitement and culture that included cooking demonstrations by celebrated chefs paired with culinary experiences and craft beer and wine tastings.
The site of concerts, art walks, yoga workshops, car shows, cruises, film nights, and holiday festivities that bring families and the community together, El Paseo has also been proud to host events benefitting an array of Coachella Valley charities.
